I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was superb, adjacent to the old city wall and very close to the Red Funnel ferries. The rooms were comfortable, especially for families with a baby cot, but it was a downside not having an opening window. The service, particularly from the manager and housekeeping, was top-notch. The dining experience, despite the reasonably high rate, was notable for its udon dishes. Overall, a good value for money choice with some minor drawbacks.
